Installation Steps

Step 1: Your tools and materials will be assembled. A Phillips head screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, a small hammer, and a new W11025649 microwave mounting plate will be required.

Step 2: The power to the microwave will be cut off by disconnecting the power cord or switching off the breaker at the main electrical panel.

Step 3: The screws that secure the old mounting plate will be taken out. For this model, two screws are located at the top of the microwave and two on the sides.

Step 4: The old mounting plate will be gently detached from the microwave.

Step 5: The new mounting plate will be inserted into the space. It is ensured that it is properly centered.

Step 6: The mounting plate will be fastened using the screws that were removed in step three.

Step 7: Power to the microwave will be restored and it will be verified that it operates correctly.
