Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord should be disconnected from your dryer and the gas line (if applicable) should be shut off. The dryer should be shifted away from the wall to provide sufficient space for working behind it.

Step 2: With a Phillips screwdriver, the screws holding the old handle’s mounting bracket to the dryer door should be taken out.

Step 3: The old handle should be gently removed from the mounting bracket and pulled away from the door.

Step 4: The new handle should be positioned onto the mounting bracket and the Phillips screwdriver should be used to loosely fasten it in place.

Step 5: The handle should be aligned with the door to verify correct positioning, then the screws should be gradually tightened until the handle is securely attached to the mounting bracket.

Step 6: The dryer’s power cord should be reconnected and the gas line (if applicable) should be turned on. The dryer should be moved back to its initial position against the wall and the functionality of the new handle should be checked.
