Installation Steps

Step 1: The W10814296 Whirlpool Washer is disconnected from the wall outlet and the water supply to the washer is terminated.

Step 2: The access panel situated behind the lower front access panel is taken off and any water that may be inside the machine is expelled.

Step 3: The top panel is removed from the washer.

Step 4: The wiring harnesses, hoses, and other components linked to the washer tub are detached.

Step 5: The four screws found on the tub mounting ring are unscrewed and the washer tub is elevated from the machine.

Step 6: The old center post gasket seal is extracted from the washer drum.

Step 7: Any leftover debris or residue from the surface of the new center post gasket seal is gently eliminated, then it is positioned onto the washer drum.

Step 8: The washer tub is set back onto the machine and fastened with the four screws.

Step 9: All hoses, wiring harnesses, and other components are reattached to the washer tub.

Step 10: The top panel and access panel are reinstalled onto the washer.

Step 11: The W10814296 Whirlpool Washer is reconnected to the wall outlet and the water supply is activated.
