Installation Steps
Step 2: The top panel of the dryer is gently elevated and supported with an object such as a broomstick.
Step 3: The two screws that secure the lid lock latch on both sides of the front panel are taken out.
Step 4: The wire connector is detached from the lid lock latch.
Step 5: The existing lid lock latch is extracted from the front panel of the dryer.
Step 6: The new W10810403 lid lock latch is inserted into the front panel, ensuring it is positioned firmly.
Step 7: The two screws that were previously removed to fasten the new lid lock latch in position are reinstalled.
Step 8: The wire connector is reattached to the new lid lock latch.
Step 9: The top panel of the dryer is lowered back into its original position and it is verified that it is secured properly.
Step 10: All screws taken out in step one are replaced and the dryer is reconnected to the outlet.
