Installation Steps

Step 1: First, the power supply to your dishwasher is disconnected and the water source is turned off prior to attempting to install the Whirlpool W10780045 Suspension Kit.

Step 2: A towel is positioned beneath the dishwasher to absorb any residual water at the bottom and the dishwasher is prepared to be taken out from its spot.

Step 3: To extract the dishwasher from its spot, it is leaned slightly forward and a helper is had to assist in stabilizing the dishwasher.

Step 4: After the dishwasher is tilted forward, the water supply hose, drain hose, and electrical connections are carefully detached from the unit.

Step 5: When all connections are removed, the dishwasher is gently lifted and set on a stable surface such as a table or countertop.

Step 6: To start the installation of the Whirlpool W10780045 Suspension Kit, the four upper corners of the dishwasher's side panels are identified and gently pried away from the frame of the dishwasher.

Step 7: Once the side panels are detached, the four upper suspension rods are found and carefully extracted from the dishwasher.

Step 8: The four new suspension rods are gently inserted into position and fastened with the provided screws.

Step 9: The side panels are reattached and the water supply hose, drain hose, and electrical connections are reconnected.

Step 10: The dishwasher is carefully placed back in its original position and the water supply is reconnected.
