Product Description

The Whirlpool W10776981 Refrigerator Electronic Control Board is the panel that controls the temperature and operational settings of the refrigerator by controlling the compressor, fans and defrost cycles. It will be mounted in the control compartment of the refrigerator and attached directly to sensors and internal wiring. The board receives inputs of temperature sensors and user inputs to control cooling, optimal storage conditions, and defrost operations.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the appliance. Prior to initiating any service or repair on your oven, it is crucial for it to be detached from its electrical supply. This step is essential for safety reasons.

Step 2: Take out the old control board. The control board positioned towards the rear of the oven should be located, and the screws that hold it in place should be removed. The board should be gently extracted and the wires attached to it should be disconnected.

Step 3: Fit the new control board. The new control board should be carefully placed into the same location as the previous one. The wires that were detached from the old board should be reconnected to the new board. The same screws that secured the old board should be used to fasten the new control board.

Step 4: Reconnect the appliance. After completing the installation, the appliance can be reconnected to the power source and switched on. Your oven should now function correctly with the new control board.
