Installation Steps

Step 1: The dishwasher should be disconnected from the wall outlet. It is crucial for the dishwasher to be disconnected from the wall outlet as power will continue to be supplied to the electronic control board, even if the switch is turned off or in the off position.

Step 2: The top panel of your dishwasher should be raised. A slot screwdriver should be employed to unscrew and detach the screws located at the rear of the dishwasher that secure the top panel. The top panel should be carefully elevated off the dishwasher.

Step 3: The wires linked to the electronic control board should be detached. Protective gloves should be worn for safety, and the wires attached to the electronic control board should be gently disconnected.

Step 4: The electronic control board should be extracted from the dishwasher. A slot screwdriver should be utilized to unscrew and take out the screws that secure the electronic control board. The control board should be gently lifted away from its mount.

Step 5: The new electronic control board should be positioned in the dishwasher. The new electronic control board should be inserted into the same location where the previous one was installed. It should be secured with the screws.

Step 6: The wires should be reattached to the new electronic control board. Protective gloves should be used for safety, and the wires should be gently reconnected to the new electronic control board.

Step 7: The top panel of the dishwasher should be reinstalled. The top panel should be carefully placed back onto the dishwasher and fastened with the screws.

Step 8: The dishwasher should be reconnected to the wall outlet. The dishwasher can now be plugged back into the wall outlet and the functionality of the new electronic control board should be verified.
