The Whirlpool W10678664 Dryer-Membrane Switch is installed on domestic dryers to regulate the different drying functions by a flat touch-sensitive panel. The membrane switch is the interface in which the users select drying cycles, set the settings, and initiate or terminate the machine. It works by closing electrical circuits under the flexible surface when pressed, which sends signals to the control board of the dryer to perform commands.
