Installation Steps

Step 1: The washing machine's power cord should be disconnected from the wall socket. A towel should be positioned in front of the appliance to absorb any water that may be present.

Step 2: The four screws fastening the top panel to the frame should be identified. A Phillips-head screwdriver should be utilized to take out the screws. The top panel should be gently lifted away from the frame and placed aside.

Step 3: The two mounting screws flanking the drum support roller should be located. A Phillips-head screwdriver should be employed to detach the screws.

Step 4: The old drum support roller should be withdrawn from the frame. Caution should be exercised to avoid misplacing any components that might have been secured in the support roller.

Step 5: The new Whirlpool W10518375 Drum Support Roller should be positioned into the frame. The roller should be fastened using the two mounting screws.

Step 6: The top panel should be lowered back onto the frame and the four screws should be reinstalled. They should be secured tightly with the Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 7: The power cord should be reconnected to the wall socket and the machine should be switched on. The washing machine should be tested to verify that the new roller operates correctly.
