Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the refrigerator should be disconnected. Following that, the unit should be unplugged from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The ice bin along with any other elements located inside the unit should be taken out.

Step 3: The screws that secure the trim onto the door frame should be detached using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 4: A putty knife should be utilized to lift the trim away from the door frame.

Step 5: The four screws that fasten the current glass door to the hinges on the frame should be identified.

Step 6: The screws should be taken out with the 1/4-inch nut driver.

Step 7: The glass door should be gently extracted from the frame and placed aside.

Step 8: The new Whirlpool W10401225 GLASS-DOOR should be inserted into the frame. It should ensure that it is appropriately centered.

Step 9: The new glass door should be fastened to the frame using the 1/4-inch nut driver.

Step 10: The trim pieces around the door frame should be reattached. They should be secured with the screws that were taken out in step 3.

Step 11: All of the components from within the refrigerator should be reintroduced.

Step 12: The refrigerator should be reconnected to the power source, and the power should be switched back on.

The Whirlpool W10401225 GLASS-DOOR has now been successfully substituted.
