Installation Steps

Step 1: Safety must be prioritized! The power supply to your dryer must be disconnected. If your model operates on gas, the gas line must be ensured to be shut off as well.

Step 2: The dryer’s panel must be accessed and the lint filter must be found.

Step 3: The filter must be gently extracted.

Step 4: Any lint and debris from the housing must be cleared out using a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth.

Step 5: The housing must be examined for any signs of wear or damage and replacement must be done if required.

Step 6: The new Whirlpool W10380173 PAD-INSER lint filter must be positioned into the housing. Proper seating must be ensured and the airflow holes must remain unobstructed.

Step 7: The dryer’s access panel must be reinstalled.

Step 8: Power to your dryer must be reconnected. For gas models, the gas supply must also be reconnected.

By following these steps, the old dryer lint filter has been successfully replaced with the new Whirlpool W10380173 PAD-INSER filter. Your dryer is now ready to operate safely and efficiently.
