Product Description

The Whirlpool W10281315 Refrigerator-Heater/Thermal Fuse Assembly is installed in the freezer compartment of compatible refrigerators to keep frost off and to ensure the fridge defrosts as it should. The component operates by controlling the temperature and switching on a defrost heater to melt the ice that has accumulated. It operates on a thermal fuse, which checks the heating element and switches off power when the temperature is too high to damage the system.
