Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to commencing the repair, it should be confirmed that the power to the appliance has been entirely turned off. The power cord should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The agitator assembly should be taken off to gain access to the spring that requires replacement. A flat head screwdriver should be utilized to extract the two screws and then the agitator assembly should be lifted away from the machine.

Step 3: Subsequently, the suspension spring should be detached from the two clips that are connected to both the agitator and the tub.

Step 4: At this stage, access to the spring that needs replacing should be available. It should be gently taken out of the machine and set aside.

Step 5: The new suspension spring can now be proceeded to install. It should simply be connected to the two clips located at the bottom of the agitator and tub. It should ensure that it is firmly attached.

Step 6: After the spring is secured, the agitator assembly should be re-attached to the washing machine. It should ensure that it is properly fastened by re-inserting the two screws.

Step 7: Lastly, the power cord should be reconnected to the wall outlet. The repair process is now finished.
