The US Stove Company 69005 Outdoor Furnace Shaker Handle is used to handle the movement of the grates in the furnace by providing the user a manual control of the shaker handle. It operates by pushing the shaker rod which allows the ash to be displaced by the repetitive action of the handle. It is located on the exterior side of the furnace and is connected to the grate linkage and is available when required to be used periodically.
