The Frigidaire 316237902 Range Top Burner Orifice - 9.5K controls the gas flow to a surface burner to ensure a controlled ratio of fuel to air to enhance controlled combustion. It is mounted in the cooktop burner manifold assembly in between the burner control valve outlet and the burner head injector, where it connects with the gas supply line. The orifice fixed the opening of the output and in the ignition system and burner valve to assist in the formation of a stable flame, controlled heat production, and the regularity of cooking operation cycles.
