The Deflecto Corporation SVHUW4 Vent Hood W/ Pipe & Collar 4" is an exterior exhaust vent assembly that provides a discharge outlet for ducted airflow through a ventilation line. Installed on the exterior wall opening, it interfaces with the connected duct pipe through the collar section and aligns with the wall cutout to maintain a continuous airflow path from the appliance exhaust system to the outside conditions. Its hood and louvered flap structure are arranged to open under airflow pressure and close when inactive, assisting in managing backflow through the duct.
