The Supco SPC990L Refrigeration Compressor 1/4 HP 900 BTU is used as the central pressure-driven unit of a sealed cooling system. This compressor forces the circulating refrigerant through compressing vapour into high-pressure flow, allowing the heat exchange through the condenser and evaporator circuits. It is contained in the bottom of the system, and it uses internal windings on the motor and mechanical valves to maintain circulation. Even torque output facilitates easy cycling and reduces vibration. It allows regulation of temperature by ensuring constant movement of refrigerant and ensuring stability of the system over time with constant loading conditions.
