The Broan SR501031 Range Hood Isolation Transformer provides isolated low-voltage power to control and lighting circuits. Its operation is to securely step down and isolate the electrical supply to allow fan and light controls to operate and it works by passing the power using an internal coil system that isolates the output of direct line voltage, minimizing the electrical noise and enhancing the circuit. This component is mounted in the control housing of the hood close to the wiring assembly and correct installation of a stable voltage supply, stable control reaction, and electrical operations.
