The Speed Queen 39169 Washer Cover Tub Gasket & Channel Assembly covers and locks the tub cover so that the water, detergent and debris do not escape the wash tub during the washing process. It can be used as a combined gasket and support channel to provide a tight fit between the tub and the cover with the required fit. This assembly is installed in specific mounting slots around the tub opening, and it links with other components to ensure that the water is contained.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The Speed Queen 39169 washing machine is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The rear section of the washing machine is gently detached and the TUB CVR, GASKET & CHAN assembly is identified.

Step 3: A wrench or flat head screwdriver is employed to remove the screws securing the assembly.

Step 4: The assembly is carefully extracted and any connected wires are detached.

Step 5: The replacement TUB CVR, GASKET & CHAN assembly is taken and inserted into the washing machine.
