The Smeg 690074733 Range Central Pan Stand controls the cookware to elevate above the central openings on the appliance. It puts the bases of the pots and pans directly on flames using its grid structure to ensure constant heat transfer and balance of the vessel when it is being used in cooking processes. The openings made in the stand are placed directly over burner heads to provide even coverage of flames below the bottoms of cookware. It is fitted in the middle part of the cooktop frame and snaps into locator pins or screw mounts, which are the support base of the burner area.
