The Smeg 580890499 Range Hood Lower Chimney protects the lower part of the duct path in the hood over the cooktop. It is a hard shell that shields the ventilation channel and directs the air removed in the capture area to the upper flue and duct connection and hides wiring and mounting frames. The panel design will be made to conform to the hood part to provide a constant airflow path and mounting surface. It is located between the canopy and the upper chimney and is attached to bracket points in the frame of the wall.
