The Smeg 550890509 Range Hood Red Upper Fireplace has a chimney extension that regulates the cooking vapors upwards during extraction. It controls greasy air out of the hood canopy to the exhaust duct, which filters through the smooth walls of the interiors, reducing turbulence and pressure loss. The building is aligned with the outlets of the canopy to provide stability to the airflow at various fan speeds. The vertical upper part is positioned above the appliance canopy, and it is attached to wall brackets or ceiling supports to be taken up to the termination point to be fully interconnected with ventilation pathways.
