Product Description
The Supco SIG1100 Furnace Igniter Round Kit is used to start up a furnace/boiler system and create a high surface temperature required to ignite gas in a system. It operates by converting electrical energy to controlled radiant heat by a silicon carbide igniter element, which is heated up when the control circuit starts the heating sequence. It is mounted on the burner assembly with included brackets and is connected to the ignition circuit with the included high-temperature lead wires. It assists in ignition timing, flame initiation, and maintaining consistent furnace performance during normal heating cycles during operation.
