The Supco SHL160 T-Stat Limit Control 160F measures temperature levels and interrupts electrical circuits when a limit of approximately 160F is reached. It responds to rising temperatures by opening or closing electrical contacts protecting connected components from overheating. It is installed at a sensing point, where it interfaces with the protected circuit and mounting surface through electrical terminals and a fixed mounting bracket. Its configuration provides automatic temperature response, limit protection, and circuit interruption, maintaining thermal safety, preventing excessive heat formation, and ensuring consistent system operation during operation.
