The Supco SDE366 Dryer Igniter initiates combustion in gas dryer burner systems by generating controlled heat to ignite the gas flow. It is set up within the burner assembly near the gas valve and flame tube, aligned with the ignition pathway and secured on a mounting bracket adjacent to the burner orifice. The igniter connects through high-temperature-rated terminals to the unit ignition circuit, allowing current-driven resistance heating. This configuration enables flame ignition, supports coordinated burner activation and maintains consistent heat generation during drying and temperature-controlled operation cycles.
