Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the power source.

Step 2: The control panel door situated on the side of the refrigerator's interior is accessed.

Step 3: The screws securing the old SCR 8-18 BA terminal are taken out and the wires are detached.

Step 4: The new SCR 8-18 BA terminal is connected to the wiring in the opposite sequence from its removal.

Step 5: The new SCR 8-18 BA terminal is fixed in place using the screws that held the previous one.

Step 6: The control panel door is shut and the refrigerator is reconnected to the wall outlet.

Step 7: The refrigerator is evaluated to ensure the new SCR 8-18 BA terminal is operating correctly.
