The Samsung DC90-31420G Washer Base Assembly is a structural component that holds the internal tub, and frame of the appliance to stabilize it. Its function is to ensure that during operation, there is a rigid base that keeps the main mechanical and suspension components in place. The assembly is a molded base, which fits the attachment points of the tub, motor and suspension components and disperses loads and vibration. It is installed on the bottom of the washer cabinet and is attached to the frame as per the design of the appliance.
