Product Description
The Samsung DA47-00457B Refrigerator Heater Metal Sheath produces a regulated heat to avoid the formation of frost on the appliance system. It flows through the internal resistance wire in its metal tube, and it is the generated heat that melts ice in automatic defrost cycles without any impact on the compartment temperatures. The sheath distributes the heat evenly throughout its contact surface, and it protects internal wiring against exposure to moisture. It is placed over the evaporator coil frame or defrost drain hole at the back of the freezer panel and is fitted using mounting brackets so that it can be integrated into the cooling circuit path.
