The Samsung BN96-13047J LED TV P-Touch Function/IR Board Assembly is a control board that receives the IR remote signal provides user interface feedback capabilities on the appliance and communicates with the main logic board to pass along the commands. It is fixed to the back of the front panel with the connector pins placed so that they fit over the display harness, and its circuitry is connected to the keypad or touch components. By providing input interpretation and IR communication that it controls, it facilitates coordinated control response and normal operating cycles of the television.
