Product Description
The Samsung BN40-00226A TV-DTV Air Cable Tuner receives the broadcast signals of the antennas or cable and converts them into data that is understood by the appliance. It is mounted in the TV chassis that directly connects to the rear coaxial input and connects to the main board with a multi-pin connector. The circuitry of the tuner with RF filtering and demodulation would be set to work with both analog and digital broadcasting standards. It controls the signal flow and communicates with the main processor, which allows proper channel decoding, selection and display in the normal viewing and system operation cycles.
