The Samsung 6601-000176 Washing Machine Ball Bearing supports the smooth rotation of the appliance drum or tub assembly. It is used to minimize friction between moving components enabling the drum to rotate freely and keep straight during wash and spin cycles. It is mounted in the bearing housing of the washer at the rear of the drum assembly, connecting inner and outer drum shafts and reducing friction and balancing the rotation to facilitate balanced drum movement and regular washing performance in normal use.
