The Robertshaw Controls/uniline 1830-620K Pilot Burner Safety Switch Kit 3-Wire detects the presence of flames and breaks the supply of gas if the pilot burner either never ignites or does not maintain a flame during operation. It is fitted in the pilot assembly circuit to detect the conditions of thermocouples or flame and closes the control circuit when unwanted conditions occur. It is a three-wire system that connects to the valve and the control system to be effectively signaled. It was designed to have the required dimensional and electrical standards to allow safe ignition operation and stable operation during common heating cycles.
