The Packard PMJ216 Start Capacitor provides the necessary electricity to start the motor in numerous appliances. It is designed for use in air conditioners, compressors, and other heavy-duty motorized equipment and fits into start circuits requiring 216 – 259 MFD and 110 – 125 volts. When the motor gets up to running speed, the capacitor is disconnected from the circuit.
