The Packard PFS014 Flame Sensor W/Ceramic Insulator monitors burner flame presence within gas-fired heating equipment to support ignition verification and burner safety control operation. It operates through a conductive sensor an insulator that detects flame rectification signals generated during burner ignition and combustion processes.
