The Packard PF52460 Class II Foot Mount Transformer converts high line voltage available on 120/208/240 V to a low 24 V output to control circuits. It works on the concept of electromagnetic induction, where primary and secondary windings that are electrically isolated are used to step down the voltage. This unit supplies constant low voltage to thermostats, relays, and control boards in electrical systems.
