The Peerless-Premier Appliance Co 2340 Range Spark Module 12 V are ignition control parts that produce and supplies spark to the cooktop burners. It functions to provide an ignition of the combustion process by creating a high-voltage pulse that lights the gas at each burner upon a cook command. This is operated by being drawn out of the control switch in the range and converting low-voltage input to high-voltage 12-volt sparks output using internal circuitry. This module is installed inside the control compartment or the cooktop cavity of the range when assembling or replacing the services.
