The Packard L38245001 Oil Sleeve Bearings with Insulator 3/4'' Dia Shaft are used to support and to permit free rotation of a shaft in a mechanical machine. They decrease the friction and wear between the rotating shaft and the stationary housing, as well as provide electrical insulation where necessary. The bearings of the oil sleeve are mounted on a 3/4-inch diameter shaft, and they slide into a bearing housing/bracket. They provide a low-friction text that retains a thin coating of lubricant that assists the shaft to rotate freely under load, minimizing contact, heat and wear and adding to reliable performance.
