The Packard A173 1/18 HP Draft Inducer Blower 3450 RPM 115 V is an electric blower motor assembly, which is used to produce a controlled draft to transfer combustion gases into a furnace or heating system. The motor is activated to rotate the blower wheel at 3450 RPM to expel the flue gases inside the combustion chamber. It is attached to the draft inducer housing close to the furnace heat exchanger, and linked to the power supply and the control board.
