The Nutone S97016450 Bath & Ventilation Fan Duct Connector controls airflow out of the fan housing into the duct system to provide adequate ventilation and eliminate moisture. It is fixed between the fan assembly and the ductwork and is fastened with clamps or screws to ensure that the airway is airtight. The connector connects the fan motor and ducting parts to manage the distribution of airflow and balance of pressure. It facilitates normal operation cycles through standardized ventilation, efficient moisture removal, and combination with fan speed controllers, timer and general system operation during normal ventilation operation.
