The Miele 11694720 Fill-Level Electrode Steam Generator KD measures the amount of water in the steam generator to support the regulated production of steam. It is fitted to the inside of the tank of the generator and connected to the control system by an electrical lead. The amount of water is detected by the electrode as the conductivity between the probe and the tank. This process sends level signals to the control circuitry, allowing controlled water supply and constant operation on normal steam generation and heating cycles
