The Midea 15823000004183 AC Evaporator Assembly is an indoor heat exchange core that is used with appliance windows or a split system. The tubing and fins are used to absorb the heat indoors, and this is transferred to the circulating refrigerant in the cooling cycles, and the condensate is directed to the outlet through the integrated drain pan. It is mounted in the indoor chassis behind the filter grille and linked through refrigerant lines and attached with mounting brackets to allow the entire cooling section to be replaced.
