The Midea 15822700001442 AC Indoor Evaporator Assembly SA-KF160DL/Y-E.ZLB 1A J is the unit that extracts the heat from the surrounding air to facilitate cooling. The main function it carries out is to remove the heat from the room air when it passes through the evaporator coils. It is a system of finned tubing wherein a fluid is evaporated, and it pulls the heat out of the surrounding air. It is installed inside the unit, behind the front grille, and is installed by attaching the assembly to the air handler and hooking the lines and drainage.
