The Midea 12138100A45794 Washer Rear Tub Assembly supports and protects the back of the appliance drum when using the machine. Its operation is to constitute a part of the external tub structure that holds water and assists in stabilizing the drum during wash and spin. The assembly is attached to the front tub part, bearings, and sealing parts to enable controlled rotation. It is mounted in the washer cabinet at the back of the tub system and is used to maintain the alignment of the drums, vibration and maintenance of water containment.
