Step 1: The necessary tools and materials will be assembled. Initially, a Phillips-head screwdriver, a flat-head screwdriver, a new MFG62579001 LG Hook Locker, and a pair of pliers will be required.
Step 2: The old hook locker will be detached and taken out. Utilizing the Phillips-head screwdriver, the four screws that secure the old hook locker will be loosened. After the screws are taken out, the old hook locker will be gently extracted.
Step 3: The new hook locker will be positioned. The new hook locker will be inserted into the bracket, ensuring that it is correctly aligned.
Step 4: The hook locker will be fastened with the screws. The four screws will be retrieved and the Phillips-head screwdriver will be applied to firmly fasten the hook locker in position.
Step 5: The hook locker’s electrical wiring will be attached. Using the flat-head screwdriver, the cover of the hook locker’s electrical box will be taken off. The wires will be inserted into their designated slots and the screws will be secured with the pliers.
Step 6: The hook locker’s operation will be verified. Once all steps have been finalized, the hook locker will be activated and its functionality will be assessed.
