The Mastercool 90062-BL 1 -Stage Vacuum Pump 3 CFM Black Series is used to eliminate air and moisture in the appliance. It is used to provide a deep vacuum in the system to make it ready to charge it with coolant and leak test it. The pump is powered by an electric motor which is a single-stage rotary vane pump which is efficient in drawing down pressure. It is connected to the support ports of the system during installation and operation.
