The MAJESTIC 20001357 Fireplace Pilot ODS TP OP 8402 monitors the presence of a stable flame in the pilot assembly, and shuts off the gas supply if the flame is extinguished. It uses an oxygen depletion safety thermocouple procedure to ensure safe combustion conditions. It is attached close to the pilot burner in the firebox and the sensing tip is located in the pilot flame. It assists safe ignition sequencing and continuous flame verification during operation, which serves to regulate the operation of pilots and the stability of the system during regular heating cycles
