The Magic Chef 30401800022 Microwave Thermocouple MCSRG24S measures the temperature in an appliance and provides safety feedback to a control system. It measures heat at a point, like near a magnetron, cavity or component junction and signals an electrical signal of that temperature. The thermocouple is mounted in the inside structure of a microwave and linked to the control circuitry. It produces an amount of voltage that is proportional to the temperature measured. The control system uses that signal to control the operation to shut the operation down in case a heat level is detected to aid safe dependable operation.
