The Carrier LH680013 Furnace Flame Sensor Rod detects burner flame presence within the furnace heating system and transmits verification signals to the control circuit during operation. It is installed near the burner assembly where it is positioned within the flame path and connected to the burner control board through the sensor wiring interface. The sensor rod is configured to monitor flame continuity and coordinate ignition safety operations with the heating control system during burner activity. It supports regulated burner monitoring, assists with controlled ignition response, and provides heating and system operation cycles.
