The LG MHW62021601 Washer Drum Spide holds the Inner turn and attaches it to the motor shaft so that it can rotate during the wash and spin processes. It provides a central hub to the perimeter of the drum, gripping the drum in a balanced manner and passing motor torque. This is found within the wash chamber of the washer behind the inner drum and it is attached to the back of the drum assembly. It is a secure drum spider that provides a stable rotation, wobbling is avoided, and the washing is accurate.
