The LG MBE62183001 Range Burner Assembly has the gas evenly distributed by the use of a ported head for consistent ignition and flame patterns. The gas out of the valve manifold moves to the burner base, where the igniter sparks off combustion to produce a stable blue flame ring, which is used to heat cookware and air shutters vary the primary air intake to maximize combustion efficiency and avoid sooting. It is mounted on the top of the orifice holder of the appliance cooktop and fixed using mounting screws, and points towards the gas orifice so that when it is in use, it can deliver fuel directly through it.
